We understand that plans can change; however, because we deal primarily in intangible, digital assets and time-intensive professional services, we have established this comprehensive Cancellation Policy. By using our website or purchasing any item, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms.

1. Digital Products (eBooks, Planners, and Printables)

Our digital products are delivered to you as downloadable files (such as PDFs, ZIP files, or high-resolution images). Because these products are intangible and delivered instantly, they are considered “used” upon delivery.

  • Instant Access & Piracy Prevention: Our automated system is designed to provide you with immediate access to your purchased eBooks, Planners, or Printables as soon as the transaction is confirmed via Razorpay, PayU, or PayPal. This instant fulfillment ensures that you can start using our resources without delay.
  • Irrevocable Nature: Once the download link has been generated or delivered to your registered email address, the sale is final. Unlike physical goods, digital files cannot be “returned” or “un-downloaded.” Therefore, we do not accept cancellation requests for digital products after the purchase has been completed.
  • Customer Responsibility (Due Diligence): We strongly encourage all users to:
    • Read the full product description and feature list carefully.
    • Review any sample pages or screenshots provided on the product page.
    • Ensure that you have the compatible software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, GoodNotes, or a PDF reader) to open and use the files.
    • Verify your email address for accuracy before hitting the ‘Pay’ button.

2. Professional Services and Consulting Engagements

Our professional services (such as 1-on-1 coaching, strategy sessions, or custom design work) involve the allocation of specific time slots and creative resources that cannot be recovered once committed.

  • Cancellation Before Commencement: If you wish to cancel a service engagement, you must do so within 24 hours of the initial payment, provided that we have not yet started any preparatory work (such as research, brainstorming, or drafting).
    • In such instances, a refund may be granted, but please note that a 10% administrative fee will be deducted to cover payment gateway charges and processing time.
  • Cancellation During the Project: If you choose to terminate a service after work has officially begun:
    • You must provide a formal written notice via email to info@nitishverma.com.
    • Any milestones already reached or creative assets already shared are non-refundable.
    • We will calculate a pro-rated fee based on the man-hours already spent on your project up to the time of the cancellation notice.
  • Consultation Call Bookings: We respect your time and expect the same in return.
    • Rescheduling: You can reschedule a call with at least 24 hours’ notice without any penalty.
    • Late Cancellation/No-Show: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend the scheduled call, will result in the forfeiture of the full booking fee.

3. Recurring Subscription Services (If Applicable)

For any membership or recurring subscription models offered on nitishverma.com, the following rules apply:

  • Self-Service Cancellation: You have the full right to cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard.
  • Effect of Cancellation: Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current paid billing cycle. For example, if you cancel on the 10th of the month but your cycle ends on the 30th, you will retain access until the 30th.
  • No Partial Refunds: We do not provide pro-rated refunds or credits for any unused days in a billing cycle. It is the user’s responsibility to cancel before the next renewal date.

To ensure that your request is processed accurately and efficiently, please adhere to the following steps:

  1. Written Communication: All cancellation requests must be sent to info@nitishverma.com. Requests made via social media DMs or comments will not be considered valid.
  2. Required Information: Your email must include:
    • The Subject Line: “CANCELLATION REQUEST – [Your Order ID or Service Name]”.
    • Your full name and registered email address used during the purchase.
    • A brief explanation for the cancellation (this helps us improve our services).
  3. Verification & Response: Our team will verify your transaction and the stage of work. You will receive a formal response within 2-3 business days confirming the status and any applicable financial adjustments.

5. Financial and Invoicing Implications

  • Non-Refundable Gateway Fees: When you pay via Razorpay, PayU, or PayPal, they charge a transaction fee which they do not refund to us even if we refund you. Therefore, all eligible refunds will be processed minus these transaction fees.
  • Official Documentation via Zoho Invoice: If a cancellation leads to a refund or a partial payment, we will issue a formal Credit Note through Zoho Invoice. This ensures that your financial records and ours remain compliant with Indian taxation and accounting standards.
  • Refund Processing Time: Once a cancellation and refund are approved, it may take 5 to 7 business days for the funds to reflect in your original payment method, depending on your bank’s internal policies.
